So, once upon a time, not so very long ago, there was this girl who had the ability to imagine. With the power of her mind she could transport herself into any book and into any story. She could become anything she wanted to because in her mind's eye anything was possible with the right amount of willpower, determination and hunger. Hunger for another life in another world where the laws of physics didn't apply and she could possess the ability to fly if she so wished. In every story her body would become one of strength and agility, and not limited to only human form. She could fashion herself a new body of fur, pelt or even scales. And then the animal she desired to be wouldn't even have to be of this known world of ours. She loved spending a day as a pegasus, being able to fly and keeping the clouds company, but regularly she preferred to pass the time by being a mighty dragon who had to help restore peace and prosperity to a land that has forgotten the old ways when man and beast worked together side by side.
More than anything this girl lived for every moment when she could journey to distant lands, where she could learn more about the Greek gods through Percy and the Ancient Egyptions of Carter and Sadie. Some stories even promised her the oppertunity to have a glimps of the future or relive the past. Being part of the TimeRiders team she could see how ulternative timelines could change the things we cherish and by being chosen for the HungerGames she knew how brutal life could really be when civilization has forgotten it's roots. Magic has always held a special place in her heart, especially after Artemis and Holly let her keep a bit of their gold, and Harry promised to put a worty hex on her Earthly teacher. Inkworld became her second home and Dustfinger gave her the key to the secret of cheating death. This girl would never forget the hardships that Alex had to endure and she still hated the way MI6 had treated him, but she thanks them for allowing her to learn his skill.
But after the last page has been turned and the book must be closed, this girl finds herself retracing her steps to the world where it all began, where another girl much the same as her went and teamed up with a wild Arva horse to save her two colts from the clutches of an evil king.
